Come by plane

This is the quickest way to get to Corsica. Just 1 hour 35 minutes from Paris, for a complete change of scenery in record time!

If you’re staying for a week, you should consider hiring a car in Corsica. If you’re staying for more than a week, you’d be better off coming to Corsica with your own vehicle.

Air Corsica
The regional airline Air Corsica operates flights from Paris, Marseille, Nice, Lyon and Toulouse all year round. In the summer, the airline also has flights to and from the towns of Clermont-Ferrand, Dole, Liège, Nantes, Toulon and Rome.

The national airline Air France operates numerous turnarounds in the summer, in partnership with Air Corsica from large French towns.

Easy Jet goes to Ajaccio, Bastia and Figari from Roissy Charles de Gaulle airport. It also operates flights from Basel-Mulhouse, Geneva, London, Lyon and Manchester.

This is the latest charter airline to arrive in Corsica. It operates low-cost flights all year round and in peak season to Ajaccio, Bastia or Figari, from Bordeaux, Toulouse, Montpellier, Nantes, Brest, Caen, Lille and Strasbourg

Come by boat

4 ferry companies go to Corsica. In terms of prices, if you take the boat without a vehicle and without a cabin, the cheapest ferries between mainland France and Corsica start at around twenty Euros! The prices vary depending on the time of year and when you make your booking. Buy your tickets as soon as possible, but there are also offers 7 days beforehand, so check out the various companies to find the best deal!

Corsica Linea
Corsica Linea succeeded the former SNCM. They go from Marseille, Nice and Toulon to the ports of Ajaccio, Bastia, Propriano, Porto-Vecchio and Ile Rousse. In summer, there are several turnarounds per day.

Corsica Ferries
From Nice and Toulon, the “yellow” boats go to Ajaccio, Bastia, Calvi and Ile Rousse. This private company also goes to Bastia from Italy departing from Savona or Livorno. Plenty of turnarounds in summer.

La Méridionale
This French mixed cargo company is very comfortable and works in partnership with the SNCM from Marseille. They go directly to Ajaccio, Bastia and Propriano in Corsica, and to Porto Torres in Sardinia from Propriano.

Come by car

L’Esplanade Campsite is located in the village of Olmeto, B road 157.

The campsite’s GPS coordinates are as follows:
Latitude N: N 41.6955256
Longitude E: 8.8884492

From Ajaccio via the T40 road: Go past the village of Olmeto, and continue in the direction of Propriano for around 3 km. Turn right onto the RD 157 towards Porto Pollo at the TOTAL petrol station, and continue for 1.3 km; the campsite will be on your left.

From Ajaccio via the RD 157: go over the bridge over the Taravu river, l’Esplanade Campsite is located around 9km further on your right.

From Propriano: head towards Ajaccio, from the Propriano exit (TOTAL petrol station), continue for 4.5 km and turn left onto the RD 157 towards Porto Pollo (another TOTAL petrol station on the corner). Then continue for 1.3 km; the campsite is on your left.

Come by coach

You can come by coach from Ajaccio (1 to 2 journeys per day depending on the season).
